Please accept our respects and humble obeisances.
With our aim to distribute the love of Godhead and the essence of religion among all – throughout the whole of North America and subsequently the entire world – specially among those who adore the succession of eternal religion or ‘parampara’ of ‘Sanatan Dharma’, we established our “Sreemadbhagbad Gita Sangha Temple” at 39-16 60 Street, Woodside, NY 11377 – by the grace of Lord Sri Krishna on 1997.
Since the day of foundation, through Gita Sangha we conduct regular discourses on the valuable teachings of religion, evening Gita recitation program and hold ‘kirtans’ (chanting) or devotional singing of the holy name of the Lord, along with ‘prasadam’ distribution.
These take place each and every Sunday either in the residences of dedicated devotee-members of the Sangha or in our temporary temple place or in other devout places of worship – all in effort to deliver the message of the Holy Gita to mankind.
Devotees arrange these weekly Gita discourses generally an occasions like remembering their parents’ pass-aways, or their children’s first rice-relishing ‘annaprasan’ ceremonies or birthday celebrations, or for the general well-being of seniors and dear ones.
With the sublime aim of nurturing knowledge of the scriptures, culture of Vedic literatures, teachings of the Upanishads, and learning of Bengali language – Gita Sangha has also built up “Gurukul Vidyalaya” for the growing children and young adults of the coming generation.
Ever upliftment and propagation of religious consciousness and thereby keeping social life values cherished on spiritual platforms – are among the top priority annual agenda of the Gita Sangha.

In active efforts of accomplishing all the above mentioned programs, the Gita Sangha with the encouragement and blessings from all devotees’ is on the way to establish the Sri Sri Radha Krishna Mandir on the heart of our dear New York City.
