GOSHALA
The Temple, as laid down in the sastras, has been maintaining Goshala for the preservation of cows. As mentioned in our scriptures, a cow is the embodiment of all the 33 crore gods and goddesses. The cow is one being that gives all benefit to humanity. The Go-Mutra and Gomiya are antibiotic and antiseptic that help in not only cleansing the human body helping in ridding it of diseases but also protecting the environment around us.
The temple uses Organic Cow-Feed as fodder for the cows. As of now the temple has 8 cows and 2 bulls in ist facility. The milk from the Goshala and the curd from that milk is used in the abhishekams of the deities on a daily basis and in preparation of Prasadams.
Feeding the cow is supposed to bestow all kinds of prosperity, enhance one’s punya and remove different kinds of Doshas a person may be suffering at any stage in his/her life.
The temple, for the convenience of devotees, has set up multiple cow-feed plans (one-time, daily, monthly, etc) which any devotee irrespective of their financial status can easily participate and reap the benefit.
