Satya Narayan Mandir

Shri Satyanarayan mandir is one of the oldest temples of Kapurthala. It was founded in 1950 (Vikrami Samvat 2003), on the eve of Basant Panchami. Earlier it was a small place of worship of ‘Bhagwan Shri Satyanarayan’.With blessings of Swami Shri Mukund Hari Ji and the selfless efforts of ‘Brahamrishi Shri Tilak Raj Sharma Ji’ and the support of prominents citizens and general public of Kapurthala city, it has taken to the shape of premier religious institution. The temple is being looked after and managed by Shri Satyanarayan Mandir Trust/Committee and Shri Sanatan Hari Kirtan Sabha under the presidentship of Prof. Ashwani Sharma. A good of Team Selfless Workers under the care of Trustees in doing ‘Nishkam Sewa’ in the maintenance and developement of this holy place. The dieties of Shri Satyanarayan Bhagwan, Shri Radha Krishan, Maa Vaishno Devi, Lord Shiva Parvati, Shri Ram Darbar, Maa Santoshi, Maa Saraswati, Shri Shani Dev Etc attract the Devotees by thier spiritual powers and bliss. The Emplacement of the ‘Akhand Jyoti Swaroop’ of Maa Chintapurni Ji’ Since 18.03.1999, has further enriched this holy place. The holy Darshan of ‘Jyoti Swaroop Maa Chintapurni Ji’ Provide Inner Peace and strength to the devotees. This ‘Temple’ infact is the Most Visted Temple of the city, where various religious activities continue throughout the year.
