Hindu Center was incorporated in May 1966, as a non-profit organization to spread the great teaching of the Hindu religion, to bring the community together and to ensure continuous flow of our rich culture, great traditions, incomparable heritage and peerless wisdom of our sages from past to future so that Hindu Center was coming generations may have the knowledge, inner strength, wisdom and peace they deserve. Hindu Center is managed by an active and dedicated Executive Committee, governed by a committed Board of Trustees and blessed with well-qualified honorable priests and huge blessings of God.
Hindu Center strives to achieve the following Aims & Objectives:
To cater to the needs of the community in accordance with Hindu religion.
To cultivate a better understanding of Indian culture and heritage for coming generations.
To promote social activities leading to social cohesion and human betterment.
To promote the learning of Indian languages leading to a better understanding of Indian literature and philosophies.
Hindu Center(Temple) is providing:
Priest to lead religious (rituals) performances at the temple as well as at home.
Space for weddings and other religious celebrations.
Platforms to senior citizens (Elders Social Group) and youth (HCYA),
Classes to learn and improve Yoga.
Hindi/English languages and Indian music & dance.
Free consultation on Medical, Immigration, Social Services, Matrimonial alliance issues. Free Health camps for health care and education.
Hindu Center is proud of it’s INDIAN AMERICAN members who always support morally, actively & financially.
Regular Community Services Activities:
Free Yoga Classes: Every Saturday & Sunday &7am – 8:30am.
Weekly Hindi classes (nominal fee): Every Sunday 4:30pm – 6:30pm.
Indian Music & Dance Classes: Every Saturday 11am – 2:30pm.
Elders Group meeting: 1st Sunday of every month 4pm – 6pm.
Hindu Center Youth Association meetings: Sunday with prior notice.
Free Health Case & Education camps: Being organized from time to time.
