The work present is the gallery has been created solely by the artist without any aid or support, but just by sheer talent. This lesser-known gallery located in a small house in a little lane of Imphal houses driftwood designs of all sizes ranging from huge dragons to little idols. Most of the sculpture’s designs are based on Manipuri mythological characters and Manipur’s turbulent History and Culture. Other than that, some pieces have scenes from battles carved on solid wood. The gallery also consists of artwork of Indigenous wildlife of Manipur and mythological creatures having mixed body forms of humans and animals carved from the root from a single tree.
