Space Theatre in Vidyagiri Educational Institution

The Space Theatre was inaugurated in 1985 by Sri Sathya Sai. Located in the Vidyagiri Educational Institution campus at Prasanthi Nilayam, Puttaparthi, this Planetarium is the only one between Bangalore and Hyderabad in this part of India. In keeping with the Founder’s vision of providing education free of cost, no admission fees are charged for shows at the Planetarium. Since the Planetarium is located in a rural area, special emphasis is placed on creating shows in the local language Telugu. It attracts visitors from all over India and the world, also have shows in Hindi and English.
