The institute was founded by the lama Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche, who also leads the Dzongsar Khyentse Chökyi Lodrö Institute – and is a film director under the name Khyentse Norbu. There’s accommodation for up to 100 people and a dining room serving vegetarian food.
