Hindu Afghan Religious & Cultural Association of Washington Metropolitan ( HARCA ) is established for and by the residents of Maryland, Virginia and DC to foster, promote and preserve the cultural and religious heritage of the Hindus from Afghanistan.The Association aims is to cultivate into our younger and forthcoming generations of our rich cultural traditions of our forefathers, such that, they may preserve this heritage for generations to come. To promote brotherhood amongst us, such that we may help, assist and advise one another in all aspects of human endeavor in our daily lives and livelihood. Care for the elderly of the community by providing social, medical and any other services as so desired.
