VEDA was founded in August 2007 to fulfill the needs of the Hindu community and to celebrate festivals and rituals in traditional manner, with enthusiastic support from the community, VEDA Sri Venkateswara Temple was started in October 2009.
Lord Venkateswara has been invocated as the presiding deity along with Lord Shiva, Devi Durga and 12 other deities in the current premises. Regular daily services are being carried out and on special occasions VEDA is conducting free Samuhika Poojas like Navaratri festival, Lakshmi Pooja, Ganapathy Pooja, Srinivasa Kalyanam, Rudrabhishekam, Upakarma to name a few.
In addition to regular religious services, VEDA has organized several classical music and dance concerts with world-renowned artists like Sudha raghunathan, Sukhisivam, Dr. L.Subramaniam, Dr.S.P.Balasubramaniam, Malladi brothers, Sri Unni Krishnan, Crazy Mohan and others.
As part of continuing our heritage and imparting Indian culture to our next generation, VEDA actively encourages various cultural activities such as Indian classical dance and Carnatic/Hindustani music classes. Language classes and Yogasessions are also held as part of our cultural efforts.
VEDA is 501(c)(3) certified non-profit organization. All donations to VEDA are tax deductable.
