TEMPLE IS OPEN FOR ALL ACTIVITIES AT NORMAL CAPACITY

Based on the Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s order to reopen the state, the IACCT Board unanimously voted to fully open the Temple for all activities starting July 1, 2021 without capacity or other recently-imposed restrictions. Our regular satsangs on 2nd and 4th Sundays, and other functions will be conducted with prasad lunch or dinner prepared and served in the same manner as pre-pandemic days. The community members are welcome to attend with masks and social distancing if you prefer. In accordance with CDC guidance, please wear face-covering if you are not fully vaccinated for everyone’s safety. We will maintain attendance register to facilitate contact tracing if it become necessary.

The announcement is good until further notice. Temple board will monitor progression of the infection through state and national media and take appropriate corrective steps if the situation demands.

AN OPPORTUNITY TO OFFER ARCHANA FOR WHOLE YEAR

Here is an opportunity for you to participate in Annual Archana. IACCT has been offering Annual Archana for several years. You can sign up for a whole year archana by donating $201 at one time, so that Panditji will recite archana for you and seek blessings for the whole family, whether you are present or not.

We already have several families who have signed up for annual archana. Please provide the names of family members along with your gotra, if you know, along with $201 to Panditji or any Board member, and we will provide the information to Panditji ahead of the festival poojas where we have the archanas. The main events where we have archana at the temple are – New Year’s Day pooja, Makar Sankranti, MahaShivaratri, Ugadi/Gudhi Padwa, Rama Navami, Ganesh Chaturthi, Ananta Chaturdashi, Vijaya Dashmi (Dushera), Mahalakshmi Pooja at Diwali and possibly at other events. Please call Panditji or any Board member to participate in Annual Archana.
