We are happy to announce that the Ashram has started a gradual, phased opening process. We will make adjustments over time as best safety practices dictate. We have been guided by a continuous process of examining how to ensure the greatest safety and wellbeing for all, as an ashram that hosts thousands of visitors from around the world. We look forward to seeing you.
We have now moved on to our second phase. The Temple will be open daily from 10am to 3pm by appointment. Please call the Ashram at 719-256-4108 to make your appointment.
During this initial stage; the Temple, dormitory bathrooms, and lawn area will be open. You are welcome to bring your own food or snacks to eat outside but the earthship bathrooms, kitchen, and shop will remain closed to visitors. Because we have many bears this time of year, we also ask that you pack your trash out with you, if possible.
We require that everyone wear a mask and observe social distancing. If you are experiencing symptoms of sickness, please refrain from visiting. We appreciate your cooperation with this transition to reopening.
Mantras
The word mantra is derived from two Sanskrit words—manas (mind) and tra (tool). Mantra literally means “a tool for the mind,” and was designed to help practitioners access a higher power and their true natures.
Babaji taught people to chant the ancient mantra OM NAMAH SHIVAYA, which may be translated as I take refuge in God. A mantra is a Sanskrit phrase which invokes the Divine by a name. There are thousands of names of God and thousands of mantras.
Karma Yoga is the path of action, connecting every action in your life to God, and God can be felt through and with your actions. We all do action in some form and why not do it with God. Karma Yoga is selfless service, work performed in harmony with all Creation
I revere him whose origin is the truth, who is the truth, who loves the truth, who is engrossed in the truth, who is the refuge of all the righteous, who is the guide leading the way to the truth, whose truth is unshakeable.

Always remember Her with fearless heart,
Who takes away from you all troubles
And pours on you the elixir of Pure Awareness, As clear, as bright and cooling as the moon.
Out of affectionate love for those who love Thee, Thou giv’st Thy Holy Vision to their eye.Thou bringest forth a blissful stream of nectar, Which like the Holy Ganga, cleanses the world of all its sins.
