Garhwali Mess or Gadwali Mess is one of the oldest buildings situated in Lansdowne district of Pauri Garhwal. This British-era building was built in 1888 that has been preserved and maintained by the state government and is a popular tourist attraction in Lansdowne. It is one of the most well-preserved architecture in Lansdowne and reflects the century-old heritage of Indian Army and Garhwal Rifles – one of the most prestigious of all army regiments. Tourists travel from far and wide to explore this historical building.
